Thega Pal Meen Curry Recipe (Fish Curry)



                          

Ingredients :-


Cat fish (Etta)  :-  ½  kg
Turmeric powder : - 1/4 tsp
Chilli powder :- 2tsp
Coriander Powder:- 1 tsp
Gampooge (Kodampuli) :- 5
Green mango :-1/2
Green Chilli :- 3 Nos(sliced)
Ginger :- small piece(peeled and sliced)
Small Onion :- 10 (sliced vertically for the curry and roundly for sauting(only 4 nos))
Tomato :- ½ (sliced)
Salt :-  as required
Fresh grated coconut  :–1
Curry Leaves :- 3tsp
Coconut oil :-  as required


Method  of  preparation :-


             Cut the fresh catfish into pieces and put aside . Keep a small pan under fire (medium fire) and then add Chilli powder ,coriander powder and turmeric powder and just heat it . Then mix it with the fish by adding little of water and put aside for 10 minutes.After 10 minutes mix it with  salt,small onion,green chillies,ginger,tomato, Gampooge (Kodampuli),green mango and 1 tsp of curry leaves and keep aside



                         


             Prepare two extracts of coconut, first with 1 cup of warm water ,second with 2 cups of warm water.Then cook the fish mixture by adding the second extract.When it gets boil, keep it under small fire for 10 minutes.Then add the first extract and keep it for 3 to 4 minutes.After that add 1 tsp of curry leaves

                            


                          Heat oil in another pan and add curry leaves and small onion (sliced roundly) and fry till it turns to brown colour .Then pour it over the curry.Remove it from fire and transfer it into a serving pot






   Now you can serve the hot  Meen curry (Fish curry)with Nadan Rice

Nadan Pavakka Ularthiyathu Recipe (Dry Bitter gourd Curry)




                                     

Ingredients  :-


Bitter gourds :- 6
Coconut :- ½ ( cut into thin strips)
Green Chilli :- 5 (slit lengthwise)
Salt :-  to taste
Lime :-1
Curry Leaves :- 2 tsp
Mustard :- 1tsp
Coconut oil :-4 tsp





Method  of  preparation :-


                   First wash the bitter gourds and slightly peel and scoop out the seeds from them. Cut them into thin strips. 
         Mix them with coconut strips,Green chilli,Salt , lime and one cup of water. Cook it till tender and dry
                 Then heat oil in another pan and saute the mustard seeds and curry leaves.Then add the cooked bitter gourd mixture and combine well. Keep it under fire for 10 minutes. well. Remove the pan from fire and transfer  into a serving pot


                   Serve   the   hot  Pavakka Ularthiyathu with  Rice

Spicy Macroni - Egg Masala Recipe





Ingredients  :-

Macroni :- 1 glass
Onion :-2 Nos  (peeled and sliced)
Green Chillies :- 4  (sliced)
Curry Leaves :- 1 tsp
Egg :- 2
Pepper powder :- 1tsp
Turmeric powder :- ½ tsp
Garam masala:-1 tsp
Coconut oil :- as  required
Salt :-  to taste


Method  of  preparation :-

           First wash the macroni using hot water and cook it by adding little of water and put aside.


                                         


                         Then beat the egg nicely and mix it with salt and pepper powder. Then heat oil in another pan and add onion , green chilies and curry leaves and a pinch of salt and fry well.Then add the beated egg mixture into the pan and combine well and fry it well. When the egg gets separated , add macroni and combine well. Remove the pan from fire and transfer  into a serving pot
                                                                                    

                                           


          
              Serve   the   hot  Spicy  Macroni Egg Masala

Nadan Kozhi Porichathu Recipe ( Chicken Fry)



                                                            
Ingredients:-


Nadan kozhi :-  1
 Chilly Powder :- 1 ½ tsp
Turmeric powder:- ½ tsp
Garam Masala :-2 tsp
Vinegar :- 1 ½ tsp
Salt :-  to taste

For Masala :-


Onion :- 2 (peeled and sliced)
Garlic : – 10 pieces (peeled and sliced)
Ginger : - small piece (peeled and sliced)
Green Chillies :- 2  (sliced)
Curry Leaves :- 2 tsp
Red chilly powder :- 1/2 tsp
Coriander Powder :- ¾ tsp
Pepper Powder :-1/2 tsp
Turmeric powder :-1/4 tsp
Chicken masala :-1 tsp
Curry leaves :- 1tsp
Coconut oil :-as required

Method of Preparation  :-


                    Wash the chicken very nicely; drain and then cut into pieces .Then mix with salt , turmeric powder,chilli powder ,garam masala and vinegar and put aside for ½ an hour. Then cook it by adding enough water and remove it from fire and drain well and keep aside. Then heat oil in another pan and fry the chicken pieces till it turns to dark brown colour and keep aside
                    Heat oil in another pan and add Onion  ,Garlic ,Ginger ,Green Chilies and  curry Leaves and fry well. Then add red chilli powder, coriander powder, pepper powder, turmeric powder and chicken masala and mix well. Fry it well and then add the fried chicken pieces into the masala and combine well. Remove it from fire and transfer it into a serving plate.
