Nadan–Urulakizhagu Ishtu Recipe (Potato Ishtu)









Ingredients  :-

Potato :- ½ kg
Onion :- 1 and 1/2 (peeled and sliced)
Green Chillies :- 2  (sliced)
Curry Leaves :- 2 tsp
Fresh grated coconut :- 1
Salt :-  to taste


Method  of  preparation :-


          Cut potato into medium sized pieces .Then mix it with sliced onion ,green chili , little of curry leaves and salt .Then put them in pressure cooker and cook it by adding enough water.
 
          Prepare the coconut milk by adding enough warm water into the grated coconut. Then pour the milk over the potato mixture and combine well and keep it under fire for 2 to 3 minutes and finally add some curry leaves. Remove the pot from fire and transfer it into a serving pot



                                                                       
                   


                     Serve   the   hot  Potato Ishtu  with Rice or Velleppam
