Ingredients :-
Bitter gourds :- 6
Coconut :- ½ ( cut into thin
strips)
Green Chilli :- 5 (slit lengthwise)
Salt :- to taste
Lime :-1
Curry Leaves :- 2 tsp
Mustard :- 1tsp
Coconut oil :-4 tsp
Method of
preparation :-
First
wash the bitter gourds and slightly peel and scoop out the seeds from them. Cut
them into thin strips.
Mix them with coconut strips,Green chilli,Salt , lime
and one cup of water. Cook it till tender and dry
Then heat oil in another pan and saute the
mustard seeds and curry leaves.Then add the cooked bitter gourd mixture and
combine well. Keep it under fire for 10 minutes. well. Remove the pan from fire
and transfer into a serving pot
Serve the
hot Pavakka Ularthiyathu with Rice
