Spicy Tomato Masala Curry Recipe



 


Ingredients  :-

Tomato :- 3 Nos
Onion :-2 Nos  (peeled and sliced)
Green Chillies :- 5  (sliced)
Garlic:- 3 (sliced)
 Ginger : - a small piece (sliced)
 Curry Leaves :- 2 tsp
 Red chilly powder :- 2 tsp
Turmeric powder :- ½ tsp
Garam masala:-1 tsp
Coconut oil :- as  required
Salt :-  to taste



Method  of  preparation :-

                          Cut the tomato into small pieces and mix with little of salt and turmeric powder .Heat oil in a pan and add garlic and ginger.Then add sliced onion , green chilli , curry leaves and fry it till it turns light brown colour .After that add red chilli powder ,garam masala and  little of salt .Mix well the masala and fry it .
                     Immediately add the  tomato and and mix well with the masala .Cook the tomato by adding little of water .Keep it under fire till it turns into a thick gravy.Remove it from fire and transfer  into a serving pot .Garnish the masala gravy with curry leaves



                                                                                  
     Serve   the   hot  Spicy  Tomato  Masala Curry  with Chapati

Vegetable Pulavu Recipe




                                  

Ingredients  :-


Basmati Rice :- 2 Cups
Carrot :- 1
Potato :- 1
Tomato :-1
Greenpeace :- 1/4 glass
Beans :- 3(slice into very small pieces)
Onion :- 1 (peeled and sliced)
Green Chilli :- 5
Cardamom :- 4
Cloves (Karambu) :-4
Cinnamon (karuvapatta) :- 1piece
Pepper :-12
Turmeric powder :- 1/4 tsp
Ghee :- 4tsp
Salt :-  to taste
Water :- 4 cups


Method  of  preparation :-

                    Soak the  greenpeace overnight and cook by adding enough water and put aside in one pot .Heat ghee in a pressure cooker and add onion and green chilli .After that add  Cardamom , Cloves (Karambu) , Cinnamon (karuvapatta) and Pepper .When the smell comes , add all the vegetables (potato,carrot,tomato and beans) and also add salt and keep it to fry .Then add enough water and keep to boil. Add rice and also keep to boil .Close the cooker without weight and keep it under lowest flame .When it cooked by  ¾  , add Greenpeace and close the cooker with weight and keep it under flame for 5 minutes. Remove from fire and after 10 minutes you can serve

        
                    Serve   the   hot  Pualavu   with  Salad 







Nadan Kilikkoodu Recipe






Ingredients  :-





Potato :- 250 gm
Onion :- 4 (peeled and sliced into very small pieces)
Green Chillies :- 8  (sliced into very small pieces )
Garlic:- 1tsp (sliced into very small pieces)
 Ginger : -1tsp (sliced into very small pieces)
 Curry Leaves :- 2 tsp
Turmeric powder :-1 tsp
Garam masala:-1 tsp
Coconut oil :- as  required
Roasted  Vermicelli (Semiya) :-as required
Salt :-  to taste


Method  of  preparation :-


                   Cook the potato by adding enough water and drain it .Then mash it well when they are hot themselves and put aside in another pot .Heat oil in another pan and add garlic and ginger
Then add sliced onion , green chilli , curry leaves and fry it till it turns light brown colour After that add turmeric powder ,garam masala, pepper powder and salt .Mix well the masala and fry it
Immediately add the mashed potato into the masala and combine well .Remove the pan from fire and keep aside to get cool.
               After get cooled, make them in finger shaped rolls ( thickness of  one inch )  and keep aside.Now roll them gently into the roasted vermicelli and also check that it is well coated with vermicelli on all sides .Heat oil in another pan and fry the pieces until golden brown on all sides.


                                
  

     Serve   the  hot Crispy  kilikkodu  with  sauce

Nadan Kozhierichi Curry (Chicken Currry) Recipe


                    

Ingredients:-


Fresh Chicken :- 500gm
Onion :- 4 (peeled and sliced)
Crushed Garlic :– 6
 Crushed Ginger : -Small piece
Grated Coconut :-1
Curry Leaves :- 2 tsp
Red chilli powder :- 2 tsp
Turmeric Powder :- 1/4 tsp
 Pepper Powder :- 1tsp
Garam masala:-1 tsp
Coriander Powder :- 2tsp
Mustard :- 1tsp
Coconut oil :- 4 tsp
Salt :-  to taste


For Garnish  :-


Fried Small onion :-6
Curry leaves :-1tsp


Method for Making Chicken Curry :-

                Wash the chicken very well; drain and then cut into  pieces .Prepare 2 extracts with the coconut, the first with 1 cup of warm water and the second with 2 cups of warm water.Heat oil and sauté the mustard seeds and then add sliced onion , Crushed ginger and garlic and curry leaves and fry it for a minute
             Then add the chicken pieces, salt, chili powder ,turmeric powder and second coconut extract. Cook till the chicken is tender.Add the first coconut extract , garam masala , coriander and the pepper powder and cook for five minutes.Remove the pot from the fire transfer it into a serving pot
Garnish the curry with the fried small onions and curry leaves

     
                   

Serve   the   hot  Spicy  Nadan Chicken Curry with Chapati or Rice
