Nadan Palada Payasam Recipe








Ingredients :-

Rice  : -  1 Cup
Milk :- 2 ltrs
Sugar :-1 cup
Cardamom powder :-1/2 tsp
Plantain leaf :- as required


Method   of Preparation  :-



  1. Wash and soak the rice for 30 minutes. Drain well and flour it well
  2. Mix the rice flour with hot water and make it into a smooth paste
  3. Spread the rice paste on the plantain leaf as thin as possible
  4. Roll the leaf very carefully and steam it for 5 to 6 minutes
  5. Shred the cooked rice layer and put aside
  6. Boil the milk and add sugar , cardamom powder
  7. Continue boiling till the quantity is slightly reduced
  8. Then add the shredded rice and continue boiling for  2 or 3 minutes
  9. Remove the pot  from fire and transfer it to a serving pot







    

     Serve the  hot  Nadan Palada Payasam
