Ingredients

Rice flour : -2 cups
Freshly grated coconut :- 2 cups
Banana :-2
Sugar :-

Method for
making Elayada :-
- Peel the bananas and slice into very small pieces and mix well with grated coconut and sugar and put aside
- Roast the rice flour slightly and allow it to cool
- Mix the rice flour with salt and ½ cup of water
- Combine well and make it to a smooth dough
- Take a little and make it to a ball and press it on the banana leaf into a round shape as thin as possible
- Place the coconut banana mixture on it and gently fold the banana leaf
- Repeat the same process till the dough and coconut mixture are over
- Place it in the pot and steam it for 10 to 15 minutes
- Remove from the fire and transfer the ellayadas into a serving plate
Serve the Sweet Elayada
