Ingredients :-
Carrot
:- 1 No
Potato
:- 3Nos
Beetroot
:- 1 Nos
Greenpeace
:-1glass
Onion :- 3 (peeled and sliced)
Green Chillies :- 6 (sliced)
Garlic:- 3 (sliced)
Ginger : - a small piece (sliced)
Curry Leaves :- 2 tsp
Red chilly powder :- 2 tsp
Turmeric powder :- ½ tsp
Garam masala:-1½ tsp
Chicken masala :- 1 ½ tsp
Coconut oil :- as required
Salt :- to taste
Egg :- as required (beat them very
well)
Bread / Rotti crumbs :-as required
Method of
preparation :-
- Soak the green peace overnight and cook by adding enough water and put aside in one pot
- Cook all the vegetables (potato , carrot ,beetroot) by adding enough wate
- Drain well the water from the boiled vegetables
- Then mash them well when they are hot themselves and put aside in another pot
- Heat oil in another pan and add garlic and ginger
- Then add sliced onion , green chilli , curry leaves and fry it till it turns light brown colour
- After that add red chilli powder ,turmeric powder ,garam masala ,chicken masala and salt
- Mix well the masala and fry it
- Immediately add the mashed vegetables and cooked green peace into the masala and combine well
- Remove the pan from fire and keep aside to get cool
- After get cooled, make them in small balls and flat them in oval or round shape and keep aside
- Now dip them into the beated egg so that it is well coated with beated egg
- Now drop it gently into bread/rotti crumbs and also check that it is well coated with bread crumbs on both the sides
- Heat oil in a pan and fry the pieces until golden brown on both sides.
Serve the hot
