Banana Halwa (Nentrapazham Halwa) Recipe




        

 
                                       
           

Ingredients :-


Banana : -1kg
Sugar :-  700 gm
Almond(Badam) :- 30gm
Cashewnut :- 30gm
Kishmish :-30gm
Ghee :-50gm


Method   for   making  Banana Halwa  :-



  1.  Peel the bananas and slice into 1 or 2 inches roundly
  2. Steam the banana and mash it well and put aside
  3. Mix the kishmish ,almond and cashewnuts and grind well and put aside
  4. Heat water in a pan and add sugar. Stir it well till it turns into a syrup form
  5. Then add the mashed  banana  into the sugar syrup and combine well
  6. Heat ghee in another pan and add the banana mixture and grinded mixture and combine well
  7.  Stop the fire and immediately pour the banana halwa mixture in a greased pan or tray
  8.  Spread evenly and when it cooled, cut into diamond shaped or square slices.



                  



                 Serve  the  Sweet   Banana  Halwa
