Ingredients :-

Beans / Long beans
(Payar) :-100gm
Turmeric powder : - ½ tsp
Chilli powder :- 1 tsp
Coconut oil :- 2 tsp
Salt :- as required

Fresh grated
coconut :– Half
Small Onion :- 100gm
Green Chilli :- 5 Nos
Curry Leaves :- 2tsp
Cumin / Jeerakam :- ½
tsp
Curd :- ½ glass
Method of
preparation :-
Peel and cut all the vegetables into 2-inch lengths
Please place the Plantain /Nentra Kaya pieces seperatly in a solution ( mix little turmeric powder with water) for 4 or 5 minutes.Then mix all the vegetables together with salt,turmeric powder and chilli powder.Cook the vegetables separately by adding very enough water in a heavy-bottomed pot
Then mix the grated coconut, green chillies and cumin/jeerakam , small onion and curry leaves .After that crush the mixture (don’t make a paste form). Its better if u can use nadan ammikal stone Keep the crushed mixture in another pot .Add ½ glass of curd into the pot and mix well with the vegetables and allow it to boil .and also you can add water as required.Add the crushed coconut mixture into the pot and combine well and keep it under fire for 2 minutes
Then finally add the oil and curry leaves and mix well .Do not heat.Remove it from fire and transfer to a serving pot
Serve
the hot Nadan Avial Gravy with Nadan rice
