Nadan Pineapple Curry Recipe









Ingredients :-


Pineapple  :-  1 kg
Turmeric powder : - ½ tsp
Chilli powder :- 1tsp
Salt :-  as required
Fresh grated coconut  :–1 No
Small Onion :- 10gm
Green Chilli :- 5 Nos
Curry Leaves :- 2tsp
Cumin / Jeerakam :-10gm
Sugar:- 4tsp
Curd :- 1 glass
Mustard :-10gm
Coconut oil :- 50gm




Method  of  preparation :-

             
  1. Peel and chop the pineapple into small pieces
  2. Then mix it with salt,turmeric powder , chilli powder and sugar
  3. Cook it by adding enough water .
  4. Then mix the grated coconut, green chillies ,cumin/jeerakam , small onion and curry leaves and grind well
  5. Keep the  mixture in another pot
  6. Add  1 glass of curd into the pot and mix well with the pineapple and allow it to boil
  7. Then add the grinded coconut mixture into the pot and combine well and keep it under fire for 2 minutes
  8. Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the mustard and curry leaves and pour it over the curry


  Serve the hot Nadan Pneapple Curry with Nadan rice
